White Coat Ceremony

White Coat Ceremony is a rite of passage that often takes place during the initial days of orientation. It serves to welcome students to healthcare practice and elevate the value of humanism as the core of healthcare. Often seen as a symbol of authority and professionalism.

Department of Medical Education organized white coat ceremony at Khyber Girls Medical College for First Year MBBS students on their first day at college. Worthy Dean Professor Dr Zahid Aman formally welcomed students and Professor Dr Wajid Ali gave motivational speech. The Hippocratic Oath was recited, signifying entrance of first year MBBS students into the medical profession. Dean along with Chairmen of Basic Science Departments distributed white coats among students.
